Meet Ruth

Hi! I’m Ruth and I just love to help kids be the best that they can be!

As a qualified counsellor, I love to see them grow and develop, learn new skills and thrive through a strong sense of self and wellbeing.

I am a mum of 3 primary school aged kids and a foster carer. I previously worked at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre as a Radiation Therapist and have really enjoyed working with young people through small groups, camps and workshops over many years.

My love for music started in primary school, learning keyboard. This continued through high school, playing trumpet and piano in the school bands and travelling on regional band tours as well as a world tour!

Now I love to use music to help kids to learn, express emotions and tell their own unique story. I have a heart for kids to be able to flourish by empowering them with skills that enhance their wellbeing, social skills and sense of identity.
